There is so much to learn about living well from the world’s healthiest cultures. From slowing down and actually having a conversation with neighbors to enjoying meals with family, sometimes it seems like other countries have it all figured out.
I’ve explored the global food cultures of the countries and regions that are generally considered to have the healthiest populations, including France, Japan, the Nordic region and Italy, but now I’m turning my attention back to the good ol’ USA to figure out how to apply those lessons to everyday life here. We can’t all quit our jobs and move to places where life is more laid back and food is slow, but we can work to bring those lessons back home and make life here seem more like a French feast or an Italian siesta.
